Gizmo's Kitchen Rebranding – OVERVIEW
Gizmo's Kitchen is a student food pantry located at Grossmont College and part of the Student Engagement Services. It was my first job experience, where I assisted students facing food insecurity. In 2019, I helped rebrand the Gizmo’s Kitchen mascot, Gizmo, giving it a fresh, modern look. This rebrand played a key role in launching our social media presence, increasing recognition through media coverage, and boosting donations and outreach efforts.

Old vs. New Logo: REDESIGN Process
The original Gizmo’s Kitchen logo was outdated and low quality. My process involved refining the design by redrawing it in a cleaner, more modern style while maintaining its recognizable elements. This helped establish a more professional and versatile brand identity.

Final Logo Design
The final logo was created in two variations: a single-color version for cost-effective printing and a three-color version for digital marketing. Both designs ensured brand consistency across different platforms and materials.

Printed Media & Giveaway Items
I designed various promotional and functional items, including cooler bags, chip clips, tote bags, and meal bag inserts. Additional branded materials included water bottles, signage, a custom canopy, and tablecloths. You can also view the "Meals in a Mug" inserts I designed for Gizmo’s Kitchen handouts.

Social Media Marketing
As the lead for social media marketing, I used the rebranded logo to create engaging digital flyers and promotional materials. Our biggest audiences were on Facebook, Instagram, and email newsletters, where we effectively promoted events and resources.
